EDUCATIONAL FUND
Bursaries of up to £350 per academic year are available to individuals from Cairnie and Glass who are enrolled in further or higher education.
Applicants must be ordinarily resident (i.e. non-term time) in Cairnie or Glass, and must re-apply each academic session.
Applicants must describe how the grant will be used to contribute towards their studies.
Applications from students completing the college element of recognised apprenticeships will be accepted.
Secondary School pupils resident in Cairnie or Glass can also apply for up to £100 to attend stand-alone courses which enhance their educational or personal attainment.
The Educational Fund budget is capped each year and bursaries may be limited. The committee has full discretion of application approvals and grants are awarded on the basis of greatest need.
Evidence of the applicant's enrolment must be provided before grant will be paid.
Application rounds are held three times per year, and deadlines are usually February, June and October. Deadlines are published here and in local press, social media and posters.
Applicants should email the completed application form to cairnieglasscommunitytrust@gmail.com.
